On 26 July 2019, our Aviation Academy, Pangea Aviation Academy, proudly announced a scholarship opportunity for one individual to obtain their Private Pilot Licence (PPL) from our Kajjansi-based training facility.
Pangea Aviation Academy has trained over 230 pilots over the last 22 years.
The move supports the growth of the Ugandan aviation industry. With the revival of Uganda Airlines and a rising need for pilots globally, the future looks promising. The scholarship application was open to the public and closed on 31 August, with the winner announced by December 2019. Pangea Aviation Academy is growing to train IATA-certified professionals across the aviation disciplines, with a vision to become Africa’s premier aviation academy.
